The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is the national regulatory body for the engineering profession in Pakistan. PEC was established in 1947 by an Act of Parliament. The Council is responsible for the registration of engineers, enforcement of the code of ethics, and regulation of the engineering profession in the country.
The PEC Congress is the premier event for the engineering profession in Pakistan. The Congress is held every year and brings together leading engineers from all over the country to discuss the latest developments in the profession.
One of the key objectives of the PEC Congress is to promote the engineering profession in Pakistan. To this end, Congress offers scholarships to Pakistani engineering students.
